About UVIDEA 

 

The University of the Virgin Islands Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Association (UVIDEA) is designed for forward thinking students to flourish in developing innovative ideas in a constructive and fostering environment, which will provide progress via discussion, expansion, and collaboration of ideas.

 

The purpose of this organization is to facilitate the outreach of progressive ideas to today's infrastructure and fundamental global climate and subsequently progress ways of life regardless of individual circumstance.

 

Members of UVIDEA are able to produce and develop leading ideas in the developmental infrastructure of the structural forefront of the global community. This club aims to exist not only as a meeting place and forum but for a platform for the fruition of growth and progression of ideas. 

 

Objectives 

 

• Share the passion for innovation around the University of the Virgin Island’s campus

• Transform the perspective of students to learn about entrepreneurial skills and better prepare for their careers 

• Create graduates who use their innovative skills to generate their own income

• Applying in-class concepts to solve problems that impact the world
